Probably one of the most iconic rock clubs in central Tokyo and with an interesting German name, Bauhaus is a place I have been multiple times as well. The location is not far from the infamous Roppongi crossing area. The club used to be in a small side street but had recently moved into the basement level of a building right on the main street.
Many office workers visit that place in late evening hours, although on a random visit this year late night during the week, it was not that crowded. The club itself is rather small, with the main event being the bands playing live rock music. Individual songs can be requested and I have seen guests just spontaneously performing with the regulars. All in all, it is a great atmosphere for everyone who likes rock, hard rock and/or metal music.
