I have been to Nuremberg many times, partly because I used to work in a nearby city for many months while working in Germany. This time, I was there to visit family. For this, I stayed in Nuremberg for 2 nights. The first day, I arrived in Munich Airport early morning, and after a long queue at the train ticketing station at Munich main station, I headed to Nuremberg on a new and fairly punctual ICE (German bullet train). After arriving in Nuremberg around noon, a quick shower after check-in at the hotel near the main station, I had to fight the jet lag and decided to talk a walk through the city center. Fortunately, it was a beautiful day and the city center is in walking distance from the main station.

The day before I arrived, there was a very strong storm, which uprooted even some trees, like this one directly in front of the hotel.
