Oktoberfest in Hibiya Park

This weekend, I took a walk through Tokyo with a friend. The goal was to get out and stop by the Brazilian food festival and maybe at the Oktoberfest which was held in Hibiya Park.

We met in Harajuku, an area where I have not been in a long time. When I was younger this area always fascinated me but recently, not so much anymore.

While in Harajuku, we decided to check out the Meiji Shrine, where a wedding was held. The shrine areal did not change much from how I remembered it.

After we went to the Brazilian food festival and ate something, we walked from Harajuku area to Hibiya. Its a bit of a walk but doable. On the way, we passed by the Akasaka area.

Arrived at the Oktoberfest. I have been to this festival many many times. It is held in Hibiya Koen every year in the summer. While it is of course not the original, the atmosphere is quite nice.

The Japanese and foreigners alike enjoy the partying in the beer tents. :)

When we left the Oktoberfest, there was a sudden flashmob of people we didn't know. This called for a group picture. A very bizarre moment. Absolutely loved it, lol.
