Once a year, the Festival of Lights is held in Berlin. The Festival of Lights is an art installation illuminating famous sight seeing spots in Berlin. Its pendant in Frankfurt would be the Luminale, making the Festival of Light not the only festival of its kind. This October, I happened to be in Berlin during the spectacle due to a training course with my current company. As part of the evening events, we also went to the Reichstag, Germany's parliament building (been there twice before). The Reichstag has little to do with the Festival of Lights. However, as its interesting architecture and the one-of-a-kind dome offer spectacular pictures during the night, I included this shot here.

The Brandenburger Tor was especially amazing offering changing light installations.
Most of the illuminations were not static, but moving. I also shot a video of one of the Brandenburger Tor installations:
The Adlon Hotel was also part of the festival.
Every 5 minutes, an installation by Volkswagen was played:
