While HDR images come out differently when shot in night time. Most of the impressive ones are made during the daytime. During my last trip to Kyoto, I tried out a few but I didn't have a tripod at that time. Further, they are made with a snapshot camera, the sony cybershot dsc-w170.

This is my favorite so far, showing a graveyard in Arashiyama, Kyoto.

This is also kinda nice, this time applying a halo-matrix effect.

This one showing another graveyard.

The next one is taken from Shijo-bashi, showing the Kamogawa. The HDR comes out pretty nice, however, the edges are kinda blurred. I guess this is because I didn't use a tripod.

Bamboo forest in Kyoto, tone mapped a little bit. Nice shot.

Again, a halo-matrix effect used on a series of pictures depicting the garden in the famous Tenryuji, a temple in Arashiyama.
