Yokohama, Japan's second largest agglomeration after Tokyo. Despite being in proximity to Tokyo, Yokohama is a much quite place than Tokyo and worth a visit. The last time I have been there was at the beginning of 2007. So I thought it would be worth visiting again.
The Landmark Tower, Yokohama's mascot and at the same time Japan's highest (completed) building as of May 2010. The one that will top the Landmark tower is the Tokyo Sky Tree, build in Tokyo's Sumida ward 墨田区 to be completed in 2011.
The port area in Yokohama also hosts the ferris wheel with the biggest digital clock in the world (i think).
The area in this urban center feels much less crowded than in Tokyo.

The viewing terrace on top of it gives superb views over Yokohama and, on a clear sky, far beyond.
