After the typhoon

A typhoon hit Tokyo this morning. Yet, I felt it less strong than expected. I guess the media tends to make people more nervous than than they should be. The last one I experienced was about three years ago. This one was pretty strong and I remember how it destroyed some of my umbrellas. But when I woke up this morning, the typhoon was already gone and a beautiful bue sky was visible from almost everywhere. I would recommend anyone who experience a typhoon in Japan to go to a high place immediately after it is gone. The views are superb and with some luck Mt. Fuji should be visible from Tokyo (if there are no clouds that block the view, as it was the case when I looked out for it).
