A while ago, I was experimenting with my camera and pictures taking at night. Sometimes, when I miss the last train that goes to my place directly, I take another one that stops at a station that is about a 15 minutes walk away from my apartment. During those long walk home, I took some nice night shots I'd like to share. Nakano-ku by night!

That time, workers were doing something on the main road connecting Nakano-station and Shin-Nakano subway station.

The view to the other site.

A side street.

Another view to the side. Apparently a ramp for bikes.

Look at the main street. Without a tripod those pictures are very hard to do.

Royal Host. A so-called family restaurant where me an a friend are learning sometimes in the evening. The big advantage is that those things are open until about 2am and they have a drink bar, meaning a flat rate for non alcoholic drinks for only about 3 dollar. :)

A distribution company on the other side of the street.

Family Mart, one of the many convenience stores in Japan that are open 24/7.

In the night, one can see a lot of garbage on the streets. They are picked up early in the morning on designated days.

Cars go by fast during the night, I really like the effects produced on the camera when having moving light in the night.

A local kindergarten.

A very annoying thing is that baskets of bikes are often used as garbage cans. That however is partly understandable, as there is virtually no public trash can anywhere.

Two story parking of bikes in Japan.

A place where newspapers are packed and distributed early in the morning. Sometimes when I come home very late, I can see the people working already.

Space left between two houses.

The famous Nabeyayokocho-crossing.

An Inari shrine next to my apartment. Sometimes I see people praying for good fortune here.

...and with me in front.

Ugly air conditions in Japan. Sadly it is a must-have in the summer.

The house where I live. This place is called Malibu, haha.

And finally the entrance to my apartment by night.
