Kita-kamakura hike

Went hiking in Kita-Kamakura. It turned out to be better weather than I expected and although the group with which we hiked was kinda lame, it was an enjoyable afternoon.

On the way to our goal, the famous Dai-Butsu in Kamakura, we stumbled upon a statue of Minamoto no Yoritomo, the first of the Kamakura Shoguns. He is famous in Japan even though he supposedly killed his own brother to rule.

Also, visited a temple where one can wash money. After some Buddhist belief, it brings luck to wash coins. Although, I saw some people washing their paper money. -_-

Towards the end of the day, we did a short stop at a local beach. While it was very dirty, thus not worth bathing, it was very nice to catch a fresh sea-breaze. :)
