Went to a field trip with the University today to the data center of Deutsche Bank in Tokyo. It was really interesting. Not only did we have a thorough tour through the building, we also got to know insider information from Deutsche Bank. A data center, as it turned out, is a big deal to maintain and costs about 13 million Euro, excluding the costs for running it (that are typically a multiple of the purchasing value).
