For today, let's have a look at Japanese University life. It is well known that Japanese students are not only serious learners but are also very active in students life. For this reason, students in every University gather in quite liberal "circles" (サークル) or the more demanding "clubs" (部), in where the students are forced to show up quite often or they are kicked out. Usually there are many different clubs and circles like for sport activities, photo shooting, writing a newspaper and so on. At Ryukoku University (龍谷大学) we had more than 100 of them. So here at Sophia University it is not different. Some funny self-made posters for recruiting new members are shown below: among them are circles for the "nintendo ds", "the sophia cheerleaders called the lollipops", the "bible circle" or the "supporting group for wind instruments".
Kinda funny. But then, most of the circles are quite fun and I wished that we would have such things in Germany as well.
