Doughnut Madness

As I was studying the last days in our local library I red an interesting newspaper article from the Nikkei Weekly. It was pointed out, that the first "Crispy Cream" Doughnut Store in Japan is still unbelievable famous with the local people. I was remembered of the time I used to change trains at Shinjuku 新宿駅 when I worked in Tokyo.

Shinjuku, THE train station in Tokyo area, is considered one of the largest. It is said, that there is more transit going on every day than in the Federal Republic of Germany. Last year in early December, the first "Crispy Cream" Store in Japan opened right in front of the Southern Terrace Exit. Since then, a very long line is seen whenever you have the time to stop by there.

They wait more than an hour to actually get the chance to buy a doughnut.

But more impressing than that is the fact, that the line is going on in the back of the store, extending time to wait until more than 2 hours.

At least, the people waiting infront of the store can watch them making 超美味しい (uber-delicious) doughnuts. ;)
