Madrid

In December 2022, I went to Madrid for New Year's to meet up with family. I have been to Spain before, namely in Andalusia and Barcelona. And while each area has its own distinctive taste, I believe Madrid s an excellent place to visit. The city is quite modern, has a rich history, and is easy to get around with public transportation. Below are a few impressions from various areas of Madrid.

The Prado Art Museum from the front.

Plaza de Toros in Madrid, the bullfight arenas in Madrid.

Bullfight arena in full. While I am not a fan of the cruelty of a bull suffering, I am somewhat fascinated by the history of this sport by the spaniards.
