Toyota, probably the most known automobile companies in Japan, if not the world. The company became famous especially because of their groundbreaking process innovations that made the company so successful and was often copied: just-in-time production, kanban system etc. In connection to a school trip to greater Nagoya area, I had the chance to have a look at the factory and how the parts are welded and the cars are assembled in the end. (Unfortunately, the guide didn't allow pictures in the factory).
The 2 day trip started with a very uncommon thing for Japanese, a Rhine (!) cruise.
... castle we visited on the second day. Because it is located on a hill, it provides a magnificent view into the town.
