Went hiking with a friend a few days ago to Mount Warabi 蕨山 in Saitama prefecture 埼玉県. I didn't know how awesome nature in north-west Saitama can be. The mountains there are a great deal and are not that far from Tokyo. It's a recommended day trip for every nature lover.
