"Taiko no Tatsujin" or "How can you kill that which has no life?"

A few weeks ago, I was straying with a friend through the entertaining district of Akihabara in Tokyo. Even if someone doesn't want to buy anything it is still entertaining to just walk through the gaming centers in order to see some skilled Japanese dude's performance. There are actually plenty of games which one can play and some of them are VERY addictive. One kind of game that became increasingly popular over the years is a game which enables the player to be someone who plays the traditional Japanese drums called Taiko to the rhythm of a song. It's a pretty decent game and I also like to play it a lot (on the NDS though). In the arcade centers in Japan one play costs about 200Yen and depending on how good one is the credit lasts up to 3 songs. Usually there are 3 levels of difficulty: kantan - easy, futsu - normal and muzukashi - hard. However, if someone is really, really good at this game he can unlock the oni mode, which is the hardest level and requires very fast reactions from the player. For most of the people this mode is unplayable because its damn too fast. However, "that who has no life" seemed to have managed to master it. The astonishing part is that this guy doesn't even miss a single hit! Video below!

(In case someone didn't recognize the alternative title of this post. It's a hommage on the SouthPark episode titled "Make love, not WarCraft")
